need a laugh?
everyone seems to have picked on the americans. I watched the cnnnn one a few times and spotted that they had written on australia 'north korea' and 'iran'.. which was pretty funny.. but still.. gosh.. this is the reason why americans dont have a clue on geography:

I've just seen the first one with the CNNNNN guys - some hilarious answers of course.. but it doesn't surprise me either! Lol @ people getting their photo taken with "John Howard".. and Tony Blair being actress Linda Blair's brother!
I remember in the early 80's when my family and I were in Yugoslavia visiting rellies..and a show came on Serbian TV where a Serbian TV reporter spoke to American Uni students (in the U.S.).. randomly asking them what they knew about Yugoslavia ie. "where is Yugoslavia"? The students didn't have a clue and I can remember my cousin and his wife were gobsmacked! "How could they not know?" they asked. Their education system over there seemed to be a lot tougher than ours.. with kids needing to know the times tables in their first year of primary school. Learning seemed to be more intense and it didn't involve just their own backyard.. it was learning at an international level (studying other countries too). I remember feeling dumb when I was "tested" by friends/rellies over there.. and my parents confirmed verbally that our education system wasn't as strict as theirs. I felt a bit embarrased.
Anyway.. Jenna and I are off again.. in the car.. going to look for some winter coats/jackets at a local op-shop.
Hey guess what it seems I've broken my digital camera.. AND.. there were some hot cross buns in Coles today but without the crosses on them.

The folk in Vegas with Jay Leno are hilarious. I can't believe some of them have good jobs and yet they aren't aware of what's in front of them in Vegas! My youngest sister was married in Vegas and they had their honeymoon their and stayed at the "Luxor" (the pyramid shaped hotel).
I'm amazed Jays people allowed the drunk lady camera time! She was funny though!
I recognise the guy from "Top Gear" on SBS. It's a given now that if you ask Americans questions on the street.. they might not know the answers?
Now that was kind-of a set-up telling people that we have world famous landmarks..because that's lying.. but then it's a bit embarrasing that the folk on the street couldn't rebuke the guy for trying to pull the wool over their eyes. They just believed him.. Gosh.. how embarrasing!
Re; the beauty queen's answer about why U.S. citizens can't locate the U.S. on a map.. that was soooo embarrasing.. I felt embarrased for her.. almost melting in my own chair here! I did hear this on the news I think.. but couldn't remember her response.
