Took a screenie of a youtube vid of Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent. Semi finales? Her 2nd performance.. not as good i dont think compared to the "ive got a dream" les miserables song. But that was, what before all this attention, all the hype, before speaking to oprah, before being a youtube star, before fans wrote letters to her cat. The pressure was on, we were all expecting another great performance... and i think you could see with her mistakes that she was feeling it!
Im just glad that she still seems to be her. She was gracious with the judges on-air apology of them judging her before she sang. That was a really nice touch! :)

ugh! Fallout 3 the much awaited sequel in the fallout series. I remember playing one of the fallout games, it was a turn based action, rpg? Fallout- being whats left of the world after a nuclear fallout, so rats, bandits, pubs and travelling... everyone for themselves. Fallout 3 would be a R18+ game, which arent allowed for sale in Australia. Only games M15+ can be sold? I remember back in the old days, where the latest tekken, thats right a playable tekken demo in a video shop had curtains around it, just so the lil kiddies didnt see.. fair enough, not that i can remember whats in tekken that wasnt in Dead or alive or something.. All this because of realistic drug use.. Im sorry??? what??? I can play the games;

1) gamers are mostly 30+ year old males.. 2) what parents buy their kid(s) a M15+ game? 3) Its ok for movies to have sex scenes, ok for brothels, ok for all those naughty adds right next to the garage sale adds in the newspaper, ok for music vids 2 have half naked booties... but not ok for a game to have a sex scene, pixels people! its just pixels!! :) and it shouldnt be a game that a parent or anyone would buy for a child!!
I found the time to also put together a tia vid of her birthday and things related to her birthday. I uploaded and altho it said live it wouldnt load and said the video was no longer available? wth? i looked it up and did what they suggested, editing the video info and stuff... but nope, must have corrupted or something as i did upload it when our speed was a crappy 7kb thanks to exceeding the download limit. But now its back to the normal fast speed, uploaded and its working! YAY!!!!!!

I think the fact that i bought the new BRAN flakes cereal! proves that im a sucker for advertising and for trying something new.. a big sucker... i mean bran flakes?!
i really really did believe they would be 'delicious'.. i must have thought finally a high fibre cereal thats coated in sugar! Theyve finally figured that cereal can have high fibre and high sugar ROFL! However its as delicious as eating corrugated carboard with an occasional gem of silvered almond.. what was i thinking? (ok so it might be nicer than just plain old bran flakes... and great for a bran flake fan) When broken down in your mouth it feels gritty, no doubt because of the bran.. it sticks to the top of your molars worse than dry wheat bix.

Sunday on sbs at 9.30 they have bought back bollywood movies! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last sunday was Veer Zaara. Oh boy, it was a awesome story.. so very sad but of course with a somewhat surprising happy ending which now you are bawling with happiness. I dont think ive ever cried in any movie more than i did with this one. In true bollywood style, there was beautiful colour and lots of it, beautiful cast and as usual the evil people look damn UGLY! u heard me ugly! the songs not sung by the actors (in true bollywood style) It did have a few songs and punjabi dance but not as much as some, perhaps i was expecting more.. it didnt matter the storyline and the other points the movie was getting across; women in the workplace, girls & their rights for schools, lawyers fighting for truth vs lawyers fighting to win, hate between pakistan & india vs those who accept and love both countries and people, arranged marriage relationships vs true undying love relationships. Sad song bit of the movie.
Happy yet is still sad if u know the movie, this is the part of ending ;) proof you can have a amazing story without it turning into a complete snogfest or bedroom scenes! lol. the movie goes for 3hrs.. 0.o But its constantly interesting, especially if you like romance movies..
Yup! Its under a week to go now!! Gosh!!! Hubby finishes work well thursday, friday he will go to work (get paid etc) but everyone is cleaning the place and then theres the work sausage sizzle party at lunch.. and then home? For work people im making like the picture above altho they are rocky road christmas tree chocolates i will be making cherry ripe chocolate trees. I think its better to do the cherry ripe snack size in the choc mix along with some coconut & glace cherries. Im not sure everyone would like what they suggest; marshmallows, peanuts & turkish delight. I've never been a big fan of turkish delight! bleh! Hahaha *just thought of lion witch and the wardrobe*

I enjoyed it probably more this year (not due to the spice girls, bleh!) but to the aussie on the show our Miranda kerr.. i remember it was when i was in highschool that she entered the dolly model contest and won! At that age none of us worked or got enough allowance to buy the magazines to we were always in the highschool library reading all the dolly and girlfriend magazines! wow we were dorks!! giggling over the dolly doctor and sealed sections.. its scary to think back to that section and realise how many girls out there have no idea about sex, stds etc.. and yet they are being sexually active.. yikes.. anyways back to the show, the wings, the pretty long legs and long hair... hahahaha!! i thought the christmas section was heaps funny! lol! (its a shame not all of the christmas section is in that vid)

Rang up the doctors and was told to come straight in. i talked to the doctor and he said she is clearly not autistic from what he observed, he said a autistic child would go stand in the back corner of the room and not make eye contact or engage socially. He agreed that its probably just tia behaving badly, he said he could refer me to get her tested but said he didn't see any need to. I asked about her speech problems and he checked her ears (all fine) asked about any ear infections (nope) and gave me a referral to get her hearing checked, results will take a week and then to come back and talk further about speech therapy. I have had a fair idea what i need to do with Tia, e.g spend more time with her and have more routine BUT i get lazy, distracted or busy (and sometimes all 3) i still need to learn how to prioritize! i know! I know all about consistency, she doesnt have much fear of me(discipline wise) (dont know why. other than most things e.g barking dogs, she thinks shes invincible!!)altho fear isn't a great motivator for anything.. i just need to spend more focused time with her.
ah, relief! Went to the cinema's to find out we missed a movie time, went and did more shopping and checked out other deli's, fruit shops, butchers etc down that side of town (outside the shopping centre) and returned back to see hairspray! I thought the movie was great, certainly a movie that leaves you on a high! i found it hard to stop looking at john travolta in the fat suit playing a woman, times i forgot that was a man, times i thought wow that fake chicky singing sounds bad! There were some funny moments, some 'enough with the evil bitch' moments.. 99% singing & dancing! ^^ good thing DH wasnt keen on going, im certain he would need some sort of therapy afterwards.. if he had

While showing my brother the beach (which he thought when i mentioned it was a bus or train trip away, not the actual 5 mins walk from the shops & 2 mins walk behind maccas) We found 2-4 big jellyfish washed on shore and a jelly blubber. A jelly fish looks like a jellyfish and the jelly blubbers look like horeshoe shaped pieces of clear jelly. I wish i could find some wikipedia page on them, surely theres a name for them other than 'jelly blubbers'.
So i actually got around to putting my first video together. We bought combustion from a friend and its a awesome video editing software only i dont know how to use it, DH knows a bit. So i just used windows movie maker. ^^ I have a few more to do! and re-do the ones i already have on youtube (mostly with tia being hard to understand or just being weird.) This was taken on my last overnight trip to the city with DH & DD. He has his own website also

Well where should i start? LOL! Ok friday night we took the train in to the city, all nice and slow which was so nice compared to the usual rush-rush some trips/vacations/outings have.. we got into the city at 8pm, checked in at the formule 1 hotel.. to find out that it was a different room and wasnt exactly made/cleaned.. (see pic) we figured they had over-booked the standard room so we got the upgrade (just a extra bed) then we went out into the city and i took the role as 'tourist' taking photos of just about everything.. trams, lights, buildings.. that was fun! (pic~ flinders st station i think) Had bad takeaway, KFC.. hot rods just about burnt a hole in my mouth soooo spicy! people sitting next to us were french tourists turning a shade of red eating them too. To think DH went for the interview and had the job there if his current Job came thru.. funny enough all 3 jobs DH went for, 2 offered and 1 tried to talk him out of taking the job! And the one he has now is the one where his Boss tried to talk him out of accepting the position as a production worker! ^^ God came thru for us! (pic~chinatown) I love being in the cities at night! Especially in sydney.. but melbourne was close! Walked around a bit, went to chinatown... and the rest is a bit of blur.. DH and I hardly slept at all the night.. it was awful, perhaps to hot (aircon is noisy and right over the top of tia.. not to mention the aircon sucks in the curtain so they are really all BADLY designed rooms.. but for a cheapie hotel who can complain? OH and thanks to the irish guy who decided to have a chat in the hallway at some sort time in the morning when i was almost off to sleep.. ARGH!) the next morning we set off to go shopping! Had maccas breakie one of those evil deluxe breakfast deli choice rolls ( 2 bacon, 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs on a 6inch roll).. walked to melbourne central.. and we were like... oh how many times did we walk past this place?! lol! (before finding our flat we lived in the city in cheap hotels, the same formule 1 (once it opened) & hotel enterprize which is opposite southern cross station)
So i took DH and Tia to max Brenners (no surprise there!!) and to patchi (for more chocolate browsing etc) went to Borders (to get a magazine for DH, but they were out! I got book 3 in my Rozen maiden manga series & Tia got a powerpuff girls book) ~~ pictures & more to come~~ So we went back to chinatown.. Went to the Sanrio shop!!!! HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! thats right, i got spoilt!!! The Hello kitty shop!!! *faints from prices!* i was encouraged from DH to get something (so we could leave!) and because i was getting spoilt! i got a new wallet and another wallet/pocket thing either for a camera or my palm (which i rarely use) and tia got a sheet of stickers for $5!! OW! 0.o It felt good be surrounded by hello kitty stuff (however i think testosterone and hello kitty clash, there was another couple in there and the dude said, 'i'll wait outside' i bet they hear that as much as a bra/underwear shop! hahah) I also got a hello kitty membership and yes, i cried! weird? perhaps.. LOL! (not that i care) In the chinatown/target arcades are these mobile charm capsule machines.. and theres usually a hello kitty one.. (and there was) but there was also ones for I love Egg!!!! (the cops n robbers series!) to be cont..
Oh have u seen christines new tattoo?! wow! kudos to you, i couldnt sit that still or grin my way thru that pain.. thumbs up on the choice! just the buzz u hear outside a tattoo place gives me the creeps! as much as the sound of a dentist drill! eep!
Another saturday goes bye and i want to go back to the city, back to max brenners cafe.. theres always next saturday.. hahaha..

Adventured again to the make-up aisle.. never going back to k-mart, yes they have sales but they never seem to re-stock, look after the testers etc.. its a nightmare when it comes to foundations in whichever form to find that there are no testers or no stock of your colour.. think i will find my price line card again and go there as they always have someone willing to help and are always stocked up on everything! I ended up going with a tru-blend covergirl foundation.. and a bottle of make up remover, which i have needed for ages, its not a good look to wake up with panda eyes.. yuk.. arent baby pandas just so cute?! i want one!!!!

The crow was a deep, dark and somewhat brutally depressing movie. While its sweet that a lover "crow" would come back and seek revenge on the absolute abhorrent humans that killed his love (i typed life which would also fit) And i guess that underlying love and passion for the woman he loves is like the only light in this movie. (that and his acts of taking the drugs out of the hooker mum, cleaning up the city and all that). The police dude telling his supervisor the names of the bad guys and the supervisor says "doesn't anyone in your city have real names?" that was a funny bit. The main bad dude and his half-sister/lover sister were pretty easy to hate. What i didnt know was that Brandon Lee (who plays the crow) is bruce Lee's son. Both tragic ends for two great actors! *sigh* And i guess that it has that heath ledger, Aaliyah feel to it... when people are at their prime or debut to a higher level of accomplishment and then they are taken away so quickly! Brandon Lee was killed during the shooting of this movie (no pun intended, he was accidently shot)
