*happy dance* Moving House

ooohhh i just noticed bloggers new add another image thingy! horray!! How long has it been there i wonder????


This happy dance is due to MOVING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We will be moving out of this shoebox flat (that i seem sooo ungrateful for, it has done its job e.g being a home/roof over our heads) into a... wait for it... A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! You know one of those big things, with extra walls.. space.. privacy.. Now our flat did its job, aside from not having a laundry, any yard.. we got accomodation when we badly needed it when moving into victoria..
But im going to dream about my inside laundry with purple walls, thats actually bigger than the bathroom... purple walls??? i can get a washing machine *happy dance* ooohhh how i missed u!!!! And i can save on $$ and pollution with a wait for it.. a clothes line.. its a rope.. im sure i can put something better in.. even still i would actually have room now for one of those indoor portable clotheslines..
An absolute miracle! Thank you God!!
After the ferals had their visit from some angry person they know (drug dealer, friend or family? i dunno) hubby and his boss went into action to get us moving ASAP. Thru another lovely unexpected miracle hubby also got a payrise this week! W-o-W!!!!!! Hubby and i found the same place (without talking to each other, him being at work.. me at home) and he rang up.. they were about to process someone else application and stopped that(he told em bout the ferrals and his preggy wifey), gave us a private inspection 9am the next morning (today) faxed over applications (so we could fill them out and hand them over at the inspection) So we inspected it, applied and waited back for a answer today.. so glad we didnt have like the usual wait!!!! And success!!!!!! o.0 W-o-W!!!!!!!!!!!

And yeah.. wow.. the place is great.. (apart from the usual repetitive pink, yellow, green paint thats in 99% of houses) *not that im complaining* its got yard that needs some attention *woohoo says the greenie in me* lots of lavender, conifers.. it has a gas stove top *woohoo says the wok lover/iron chef in me* and a aerial! *woohoo says me who hates digital tv thru rabbit ear antennas and the temperamental choice of channels that work*

and its BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*woohoo says me who gets grumpy with being able to hear Tia thru the thin walls, singing, talking, constantly in her room.. that and when she tries to run around this small place*

We get the keys on monday. Have the long weekend to pack! Need to look up a few things like gas rates etc.. This means i have to decide between 2 schools for Tia, that we can walk too. Which i need to enrol her into for next year!

6 days till christmas

Yup! Its under a week to go now!! Gosh!!!
Hubby finishes work well thursday, friday he will go to work (get paid etc) but everyone is cleaning the place and then theres the work sausage sizzle party at lunch.. and then home?
For work people im making like the picture above altho they are rocky road christmas tree chocolates i will be making cherry ripe chocolate trees. I think its better to do the cherry ripe snack size in the choc mix along with some coconut & glace cherries. Im not sure everyone would like what they suggest; marshmallows, peanuts & turkish delight. I've never been a big fan of turkish delight! bleh! Hahaha *just thought of lion witch and the wardrobe*

oh noes.. theres even a song about turkish delight.. lol.. enjoy!



and another thing i cant stop thinking about. I love victoria secret shows! i like some of the underwear but seriously screw that i want them to sell wings! LOL! check out the star at the end worn by heidi klum.. I enjoyed it probably more this year (not due to the spice girls, bleh!) but to the aussie on the show our Miranda kerr.. i remember it was when i was in highschool that she entered the dolly model contest and won! At that age none of us worked or got enough allowance to buy the magazines to we were always in the highschool library reading all the dolly and girlfriend magazines! wow we were dorks!! giggling over the dolly doctor and sealed sections.. its scary to think back to that section and realise how many girls out there have no idea about sex, stds etc.. and yet they are being sexually active.. yikes.. anyways back to the show, the wings, the pretty long legs and long hair... hahahaha!! i thought the christmas section was heaps funny! lol! (its a shame not all of the christmas section is in that vid)

anyways ive got some chocolate making to do and perhaps i will make a cheese ball tomorrow ;)

Having a mummy moment

Hmm lets start yesterday where it was mostly a mummy/mommy moment filled day.. (as in a dumb moment)

Decided i would go to the bank and deposit my birthday money a cheque from my grand parents! woohoo! only for the life of me, (and without the normal bank book u get, we didnt with this account) so i went in and said i needed to deposit it but didnt know how and so filled it out at the counter (holding up the line.. meh!) she said i didnt need my bsb and acc number and i could use my card if i just put in my pin... im like 'yeah about that, i lost the paper before i remembered what the number was' lucky i brought along my acc details! phew! then i had to go wait in a different line and they let me choose my pin, put it on my card and checked that it worked and hey presto now i can use my atm card for the first time! (can give back hubbys atm card!)

Tia was a absolute pain, oh i wish i didnt care how much people gave me looks.. wish i had more guts to discipline Tia in front of people! I spent so long going from shop to shop looking at makeup, since my anti-glob mascara has turned globby.. and Tia loved touching all the eyeshadows and powders and putting them on her cheeks.. it was a mess she called it 'beautiful' and i told her to look in the mirror and she taken aback the first time and agreed to take it off and then went back to putting more back on and then insisted that it was 'beautiful' *sigh* and then she was determined on not leaving until she had more 'beautiful' (eyeshadows... etc)
Considering i find it impossible to not make a decision quickly (unless impulse buying) i think i will pick a brand and stick to it.. looking at everything else, their specials, freebies etc.. frazzles me and gives Tia more time to get attached to playing with makeup and thus wanting to take it all home too. I usually HATE spending that much on something so trivial as makeup, but i thought id stop being such a tight arse and buy it in a act of faith (along with a eyeshadow in this funky pot) (buy one get 50% the 2nd)

back to mummy moments.. i had the birthday cards and a block of chocolate ready to send to my brothers & dad but i forgot the address so i brought it all home again! doh! And i couldnt find a happy fathers day card anywhere! damnit!

The house cage inspection lasted for a total of 2 minutes, i put so much time into making the house cage wonderful for the lady to poke her nose in and out again and she left with a promise of a plumber! (yeah i wont hold my breath) to fix the leaky tap and the forever dribbling toilet.. she left and i proceded to un-pack the place back to its former messy glory.

Glad everyone had fun with talk like a pirate day!! ^^

today, Tia went to childcare.. i secretly envied the mums holding the kids that dont want mum to go.. i just want Tia to miss me once, to bounce up and down when she sees me again.. instead of running away from me going to one play thing to the other.. LOL!

While Tia was at childcare i went and did the washing. I did a clothes and a towels (seperately) load of washing down at the laundrymat.. being a tight arse and not wanting to hog 3 washing machines (even tho the place was empty) i decided to try out the frangipani fab that Tina talked about.. only i had bad flash backs.. and yeah i got white powdery marks over most things the last time i used it, so today i used even less and got it even worse! argh! I dont get it, i think the machines down at the laundrymat really suck, they arent at all gentle! (i had forgotten my Nintendo DS, my T3 and my book so i was so bored!)Liquid clothes detergent-stuff is much forgiving, i usually use the sensitive skin amolin one.. I know i shouldn't overload the washing machiene but ah well... i came home and gave most of the clothes a wipe down with a damp sponge to remove the white/powdery marks.. maybe i should look at the scoop and see if theres a mark much lower on the scoop..

My abs are much better, i think im all healed up. doing the abs again yesterday relieved a ton of the pain.. which is good.. did butt n abs already again today. And ive been yawning since midday! Think i might have a early night.. boo hoo! Im getting old!

Busy. Busy

worst pizza ever... well most recently
Frankston dominoes
usually we order 2 pizzas on rare occasions.. 1-2 a month.. usually they are very busy, late. and often thin and cripsy pizzas get a burnt ring all around the outside rim..
last night was a winner, a toni pepperoni that looks like they ran out of pepperoni. if i had wanted a pizza that looked like this i would have tried it myself or chosen a local joint.. severly lacking in pepperoni! bad pizza rant over. There has to be a better pizza place around here..

Ive been so busy! gosh... this week ive spent 1 day out shopping with all of Tia's tantrums and 1.5hrs at macdonalds watching her play... my god i was so happy to see my hubby at the end of that day! exhausting!

Ive been on a winter cleaning spree.. bleh! the window frames in our room had turned green! ew.. glad i decided on looking if they needed cleaning!

and to put the icing on the cake, so to speak. ive had this nasty cold.. my first cold all winter and this one bites! its chesty, wheezy sometimes sneezy, itchy in the back of my throat cough/cold. so i havent been feeling the greatest or very energetic.. bleh..

today i spent putting white grout on the kitchen floor using this..
and so my arms, hands, thighs and neck are killing me! *yawn* and zapped all my time and energy.

also i have no idea what this is.. its up on the ceiling above the kitchen sink and one in the bathroom, i think its for ventilation but then these 2 rooms already have fans.. so if anyone knows what they are/do lemme know.
